Description
A warm wool coat sewn in USA featuring a sheepskin-shearling collar.
This warm wool coat is patterned after our archival Wool Packer Coat that’s protected ranchers from cold wind and icy temperatures for three decades.
The Trapper is made with our signature Mackinaw Wool, the iconic material with a century-long legacy of warmth in the wet and cold Pacific Northwest. A bit longer than typical jacket-length for added coverage, it’s lined in the torso with our signature Alaskan Guide flannel for added warmth. The sleeves are lined with polyester twill for easy layering. The sheepskin-shearling collar covers up to the ears when extended, and can be secured at the throat with a buttoning leather tab. Button-front closure. Snap-flap cargo pockets. Natural horn buttons.
Mackinaw Wool is the finest example of the material that’s been the fabric of choice for warmth in the outdoors for centuries. It’s naturally water-resistant and highly breathable. The tight, dense weave of the twill fabric makes it quite wind-resistant and provides the durability to last for generations. Our wool wicks moisture away for evaporation and will continue to insulate even if it gets wet.
